In the midst of the rushing crowd of an airport, a white haired male stared up at a sign, his brows knitting together as he let out a drawn out sigh. Now he was regretting not brushing up on his Japanese before returning, convinced it would return like second nature after nearly a century away from the county. Obviously he had been mistaken and his deep frown told of that. He didn't even know which direction to go to get out of the blasted place. Sure he could speak the language without much trouble, enough to at least unwillingly carry on a conversation with the sweaty, glutinous, large man who he had been left to sit next to on the plane. But looking at symbols he hadn't seen in decades made a vein in his temple ache. He glanced around, looking at a few more signs, meeting the gazes of a few staring girls who blushed madly after and ran off to their gate, and then back to the sign he had been gazing harshly at before, his glare 10 fold now. "Damn..."

Without much of another direction, Sethos just began to walk, following a majority of the crowd that had just gotten off a plane in the gate by him. He hung his head some, trying not too stand out too much though he doubted it was a very effective tactic. He was not only hindered by his pure white hair pale skin and light eyes and basically every aspect of a foreigner, but his attire also failed at aiding him. He hadn't thought too much about it before but most people didn't go walking around in longtailed military jackets with dramatic collars, at least not on an everyday sort of basis. the ex-captain rolled his eyes to himself and at that moment he found his plan had paid off. He found himself at a security check point and relief struck him.

He wasted no time in walking past the guards who did all but strip those entering the gate, so glad he didn't have to go through that again. He shook his head at the precaution that seemed a bit exaggerate and just shrugged it off a moment later, once against on his mission of escaping the airport. He found himself successful in a matter of minutes, outside in the cool fresh air, walking down the sidewalk as taxi's and buses sped past him. Honestly he wasn't even sure where he was going from this point on. He had come back to Japan with not much else of a reason besides wanting to and not much planning besides buying the plane tickets and packing up the duffle bag held up on his shoulder and putting the rest of his things in storage back in America. With that directionlessness now a bit of a problem, Sethos dropped his bag down next to a bench which he soon found himself leaning back into.

"Maybe the next bus..." he resolved, figuring he'd give fate a chance. And he decided that chance was wasted, not moving a muscle to get up when a bus pulled to stop right in front of him a moment later. He would have taken it but then he noticed the man from the plane running out of breath up to its doors and instantly Sethos had a change of heart, not even trying to hide the distaste on his face. Really the man had been quite the annoying one, the smelly one, the kind Sethos wanted to rip apart one. "...Maybe not.." As he spoke, he caught sight that the man had noticced him, waving his shrimpy arm around. Putting on the fakest smile he could, the ex-shinigami returned that wave and the minute the man turned around Sethos's face was warped into a scowl and his wave turned to a momentary flip of the bird before he lowered his hand.

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

The airport gates opened silently as another crowd of people bustled out in a dispersed way, heading to their own respective buses and taxis. Some sat at different benches. A female, tall and slender, walked over and sat down next to Sethos on the bench. She was wearing a black, fitting but long T-Shirt, tucked out over a pair blue jeans. A white jacket was worn over her T-shirt while a pair of black converses covered her feet. Her long black hair was hung up in a ponytail while here eyes were hidden by a pair of black sunglasses. It was a sunny day and it seemed that the sunglasses were perfect to wear with the attire she had. She sat there silently for a few moments, settling her purse down beside her before she said, "You're not from around here. You're not human either."

She took her sunglasses off before looking at Sethos with her dark eyes. Her face was void of emotion, having only a bored look on it. "You don't seem like a Shinigami on a mission either, so I'm guessing you're a Rogue." She deduced, studying the man. His reiatsu seemed stronger than hers but she didn't let that deter him. Like the man, she had also just arrived from America, although she lived here and not in America. She had gone there to complete a hit that was assigned to her. On the flight back, she'd probably been far from him, as she had not seen him but detected his presence. "What's your name?" She asked normally, tilting her head very slightly in relation with the question, her pale white skin seeming to glow in the sunlight..

It was only natural for Sethos to follow the woman with his eyes as she sat down beside him. IT wasn't just because of how close they were, nor how much more than just decent looking she was, but also because just like her, he had sensed the one sitting next to him was no human. With that he let his body tense some, keeping his guard up somewhat. She had a weaker reiatsu than his own which served to calm him to some degree. His eyes narrowed just slightly though not enough to be noticed if one wasn't looking. Though he became less subtle about his discomfort when the female began to speak, quickly pointing out how much she knew. He was grinding his teeth until she brought up he fact that she no longer had ties to the soul society either, much to his relief. The last thing he needed was to make a run for it while he was still so jet lagged and really just not in the mood for such things.

"Aren't you the smart one" he noted with a hint of praise in his voice but an overall dull, somewhat rude tone nearly covered that up. He caught himself on that, sighing softly before giving an apologetic look, rubbing the back of his head in a nervous sort of way. "Yeah, you're right on target" he amended, bowing his head slightly. "My name is Sethos, Sethos Ambrose" he answered with a softer voice, trying to make up for the rudeness. For now she hadn't done anything to deserve it after all, unlike the fat man for just being gross. "And who are you?" He finally turned his head to look at her fully, leaning back more relaxed into the bench and letting his arms drape over the back as he crossed his legs. As he did so another bus had stopped and again he made no move to get up and try to catch it, deciding it probably wasn't the right one, assuming the girl was some sign to just stay put as long as he was interested, and interested he was. There hadn't been too many other rogue shinigami he had run into, even after being in the human world for so long and being all the places that he had been. He doubted her story was anywhere near like his own but that didn't make him wonder any less. "You're from around here?" he questioned, having the feeling she had been travelling for some reason for travelling besides the reason of Just Because he had used and was now somewhat regretting.

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

The sound of an airplane taking off filled the area for a few moments, Misaki's eyes fixed on the road infront of her. Her arms crossed as well as her legs, she then said, "As a matter of fact, I am. My name's Misaki Tsukino."
She stayed silent for a few more seconds, her face expressionless as her dark eyes scanned the crowd of people walking on the sidewalk on the otherside of the road. It was impossible to tell what color her eyes were. Although her face was mostly void of any emotion, her eyes couldn't betray her inner self and displayed alot of hidden pain, like someone who had killed himself/herself. But she was still alive, so she must've done something similar. That was years ago, however, and she was simply like that now.

A small smile came onto her, her lips curling in an inside-joke type of way as she then said, "I'm good at deducing things... Like the fact that you do not know where you are gonna go from here on." She said, her smile widening just a tad bit as the amusement showed on her face. This man might've seemed stronger, but he was much, much more unorganized than Misaki. She found his lack of keeping things in check funny. A small sound of humor escaped her as she closed her eyes and shook her head disapprovingly at her own behavior, the amused expression still on her face as she then said, "Well, the Soul Society ain't got our backs anymore, and I'd say we keep it that way. So we should look after each other. You can stay at my place. It's big enough." She said, offering him the choice. This was a tactical move. By having another Rogue Shinigami with her, she could potentially make him her ally. Two people survived much better than One, especially because strange things were happening recently... The increase in Hollow activity. The more frequent sightings of Togabito. The Arrancars revealing themselves again. Misaki would have to take a side soon. A war was coming.

Sethos felt his smile twitch into a rather awkward looking one when Misaki saw through him and to the fact he really had no clue what he was doing for the time being other than deciding on just what to do for the time being. With the twitch of his brow he averted his eyes to the bus that was driving away. "You really are a fast one..." he noted more to himself, letting his head drop down some in defeat when she even laughed at the lack of planning he had put into his rash choice to skip out of america in a days notice. It wasn't like she was wrong. His light blue eyes were back on her when she offered him a place to stay, honestly not expecting that though once he thought on it he knew it should have been obvious. "I'd say that's an offer I don't really have the option of refusing" Another option was of course wandering to some hotel but that would cost him money which he could keep by staying with the girl."I'll just have to take you up on that, Miss Misaki"

Not to mention just like her he had noticed the sudden increases in different reiatsu's that didn't read as shinigami, especially when he had returned. That often meant some kind of unrest would be coming up soon and it was better to have some one in times like those. It also meant a rise in shinigami showing up which was bad for him though he doubted any would know him by face. His strong reiatsu would surely leave any suspicious though. And again that was yet another good reason to stick around some one as an ally.

"Now you see maybe this was my plan all along" he tried, knowing full well the pride he put into his voice only made his words seem like even bigger lies than they already were. "Just come and sit here and wait for a lovely woman to come and pick me up and take me home with them" he arched his brow, giving a lighthearted smirk. He found himself laughing now like he hadn't for sometime. "And I wasn't disappointed was I?" He threw his arms forward as he propelled himself up off the bench, grabbing his bag as he did so, now standing and looking down on her with that same smirk on his face in a teasing manner. It was better than the other side she could have been greeted with that would likely have ignored every word she said with coldheartedness before he finally got tired of it and acted out of impulse. Though that was only his figuring. He would take teasing over the chance of getting maimed any day.

Misaki, despite herself, smirked in response to the humor and said, "You'd have better luck as a Puppy if you're thinking of trying that plan."
Seeing him stand up and ready to go, she stood up as well and as she stood next to him, she realized that she was taller than him. That made her smirk. 1 inch of a difference or not, she was still taller.
"So, Sethos... I'm guessing you're from America?" She said, putting her sunglasses back on, which made her seem more modern. A Soul reaper who had perfected the art of blending in with the modern society. She studied the scar on his nose and his white hair. It wasn't unusual to see white hair or scars on Soul Reapers, but she wondered how he got the scar. It was general curiousity, after all. Regardless of his answer, Misaki raised her hand to signal a passing Taxi to stop. The Taxi Driver came out to take their suitcases and put them into the trunk as Misaki entered the back of the vehicle and sat next to the window. Once Sethos had also entered the vehicle, Misaki spoke the address to the Taxi Driver, who nodded and began to drive.

A Quiet fell upon them as the only sound in the taxi was some low-volume music and the small rush of the air conditioners, Misaki looking outside at the sights that passed, not really having anything to say. Her pale skin seemed paler in the light of the afternoon sun.

"Perhaps you're right, but..." he smirked again "It did work out did it not?". His smirk faded a bit when the woman stood, noticing that she was around his same height if not just a tad taller. That hardly seemed right. And when he noticed that she smirked, probably catching on to the same thing he had, Sethos pursed his lips in a slight scowl. Yeah yeah..." he muttered, tossing the subject aside when the taxi pulled up.

When asked about where he came form he gave a nod. "It shows in the way I can't read anything here anymore" he sighed out with a twinge of embarrassment in his deep voice. It was like he was an uneducated child all over again and that was something he wasn't so very proud o, even if he could relearn quickly. "guess I don't exactly fit in around here all that much. That probably gives it away some" Even if he had tried to wear something different his hair instantly attracted attention due to its overbearingly white shade. And if that didn't draw one in his obvious scar would do the trick. So really he didn't bother, no matter how counteractive that was to the idea of of being in hiding.

Once Misaki had gotten into the taxi he followed her lead, closing the door behind him. HE slouched against the door in his usual casual manner. His forehead resting against the cool window and he stared out as they began to leave, eyeing a few more signs with some hope that it would strike something and his ability to understand anything that might have been written would come back. When this didn't work he simply turned his head, crossing his arms over his chest. The silence that had taken over wasn't a comfortable one but even if he had anything worth bringing up he the taxi driver being all but a few feet away stopped his words in his throat. He might have been a bit paranoid but he couldn't help but think the man would be closely listening in on anything they might have said. It wasn't like he had anything better to listen to with what was softly playing on the radio. So again he found himself, glancing over to Misaki, just looking for some topic to think about to himself and again Sethos found himself curious about why she was no longer in the soul society or how long it had been since she had left. his mind wandered further, trying to imagine what all had change since he bolted centuries ago. He became so lost in this that he hadn't even fully realized when the taxi had halted at its destination until he vaguely picked up on the driver talking to them.

The driver was talking to her alright. He was asking for directions in the final few areas, through which Misaki was leading. A few turns down a side-street and they arrived infront of a large apartment building. Getting out of the car, Misaki paid the driver and then took her baggage, which was just her bag and a suitcase, Waiting for him to get ready, she then began to walk into the apartment, going into the elevator and waiting for him to enter. When he did, she clicked floor 6 and waited silently as the elevator climbed. When the floor was reached, she walked out briskly, walking past several doors before stopping at one, bringing out a key and opening the door. Once she got inside, she dropped her suitcase and bag on the floor. The house opened up directly into the Living room, past which the dining room could be seen. there were a 3 doors here and there, which belonged to 2 bedrooms and 1 outer bathroom, the bedrooms having their own bathroom as well. Misaki seemed to have forgotten that Sethos had come with her as she began to pull her jacket off while she walked over to the kitchen area. By the time she remembered that Sethos was also there, she had taken her black T-shirt, revealing most of her slender backside to Sethos as well as the straps of her bra. But as a trained assassin and hitman, Misaki felt no embarrassment. If Sethos seemed embarrassed, Misaki would smirk and say, "It's not good to be distracted that easily."

After that, she had the good grace to go into one of the bedrooms, pointing to the door across the room and saying, "That's your room. Make yourself at home." She said, before closing her door and locking it, heading for a bath.

Sethos halfway listened now as Misaki gave the driver the directions to her building. though he was still looking out the window, trying to note some noticable details that might aid him if he ever wound up outside and lost, which didn't sound all that pleasant. Once they were stopped he gave the apartment building a once over when he got out of the car. He memorized what he felt was enough and let his eyes droop some, walking to the trunk to get his own duffle bag. He figured it would be enough for now until he could call back to some friends to get some of his other things sent. As soon as the strap was draped over his shoulder he was following behind the woman, thinking how much he really needed to sprawl out across a bed after sitting for nearly the entire day. The ride had reminded him of that much. He didn't break the silence Misaki was keeping within the elevator, instead chooising to let it be and stare at the numbers above the door as the elevator moved up floor by floor.

When he entered the apartment he looked down just long enough to remove his boot s at the door. When light eyes traveled up though he was greeted with the sight of her nearly bare back. He blinked a few times, flicking his wrist to close the door of the apartment behind him. "Heh. Its not good to be so forgetful either" he smirked back. "Guess we both have something to work on" He slid he boots against the wall with his foot before walking further into the apartment, looking around. Misaki caught his attention though when she indicated the door to his own room. 'At last..' he thought to himself with a miniscule relieved smile. "Ah Than-knsssss..." He had turned around to thank the woman but was only met with her closing the door just as he spoke. He shrugged it off, walking to enter his own room. the first thing to drop to the floor was his bag, quickly followed by his jacket. Usually he'd care more about just leaving thing around but even for him jetlag had its toll. He glanced to the bed that called to him in a voice so sweet but then something else called to him in a less pleasing way. His stomach growled so loudly it seemed to echo through the room and Sethos instantly frowned. He was so close to being able to relax too.

With a disappointed look he turned on his heals, undoing the button that held his shirt closed. It wasn't like Misaki was there to see anyway. He padded to the kitchen, figuring the fridge was fair game since he had been invited here by the other rogue. e leaned forward, looking around its contents, sliding things around in hopes of finding something that met his tastes.

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

The freezer had a wide variety of food, most of which were already prepared and cooked, wrapped in plastic over black styrofoam trays, just waiting to be heated in the oven and eaten. Misaki liked having pre-made food and didn't really like cooking it herself, it seemed. Sethos had a wide variety to choose from.

10 minutes later, Misaki opened her door and walked out, wearing a loose white T-shirt and a pair of khaki pants. Simple clothing. Her dark ebony hair was wet and a towel was hanging around her neck, one end gripped by her right hand, rubbing her hair dry. When she saw Sethos, she didn't say anything to disapprove him eating from her fridge. She DID say 'Make yourself at home'. And she meant it. However, she wasn't letting him live here just out of hospitality. He was a rogue, like her, and therefore, she brought him here for her own purposes as well as to have some badly needed company. She hadn't had anyone to talk to for a long time.
"So... Tell me about your past life in the Soul Society And why you left." She said directly. Who cared about discretion or beating about the bush first? Misaki considered all that a waste of time and wanted straight answers. Her face was void of emotions and her eyes seemed very serious. She sat down on the sofa and dropped her towel beside her, letting her raven hair naturally fall around her face, her pale arms crossed infront of her as she stared at him, waiting for the answer. Misaki had an advantage over the man. She had given him a place to stay out of nowhere, so he was subconsciously indebt to her and would most likely not refuse her question. Also, Misaki had to make sure that this man was someone she could trust, not just some random person who had left the soul society for no reason whatsover. That would mean he'd be able to go back if he wanted, and Misaki could not let that happen. Her existence had to stay a secret from the Soul Society, as she had made sure for so long. Several Soul Reapers had died who simply laid eyes on her.
As her right arm was under her left arm due to the crossed-arms position, as well as hidden by her lap on which it was resting, it would not be visible to Sethos. Especially the fact that a hidden knife was clutched in her right hand, ready to spring it's blade out and stab Sethos if things went wrong or out of hand. Her expressions, however, was completly natural and serious, giving no indication that she was planning on killing him if he wasn't actually a rogue or someone she couldn't trust.

Rummaging through the freezer, Sethos looked through each of the prepped meals, finding some more western food he was accustomed to. Peeling back the plastic wrapping it revealed some shrimp over a bed of angel hair with scampi sauce left to soak into it. The same moment he placed the tray into the microwave he heard the door open, glancing back over his shoulder. He was about to try and start up conversation, not much liking the strange silence that had been settle but at the same time he opened his mouth Misaki was speaking. And they were not words he wanted to here. He instantly closed his mouth in a straight line, his eyes seeming to dull some. He looked back to the microwave, not saying a word as he waited for the timer to run out. He took some extra time to hunt for a fork, really in no rush now if he had been in one before. He didn't care how hungry he was. Finally though he found a drawer for silverware and his stalling was over. Removing the tray from the microwave he walked to the couch, sitting down and placing the tray on the coffee table.

At first it didn't seem like he was going to give her an answer, but then he let out a long, dragged out sigh. "I was the captain of squad 3. We were out taking some care of some hollows that got in out in rukongai and everything seemed fine. I don't really know why but after that I ended up slaughtering..some of the residence there." he wasn't going to give a number of how many and he knew some was making it sound not so bad. "It was a long time ago and might have been forgotten but even still it's better that I stay away from there. I'm sure theres still some from back then who would recognize me and probably try to take me in on the spot" He didn't want to push the limits of hospitality. He could tell why she wanted to know. He was wondering the exact same thing about her. Even if she had given him a place to stay there was an uneasiness about who she was and what ties she could have had.

He picked up his fork, strings some of the pasta around it to take a bite. After he swallowed he glanced over to the girl, a question clear on his face. "And what about you?" he murmured aloud finally before continuing with his meal. He didn't really know if he should have been expecting an answer or not but that didn't mean he couldn't ask. "It doesn't seem like you're close to the Soul Society either.l What could you have possibly done?".

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

She narrowed her eyes at the white haired man as she listened to his story. It seemed solid enough and she now determined him trustworthy. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, uncrossing her hands and putting the switchblade on the coffeetable infront of her.
"Just because you told me your story does not mean I have to do the same. I'm afraid I'm not going to be sharing my story to anyone." She said, walking over to the fridge and pulling out a pre-prepped sandwich as she closed the fridge after. She then put the sandwich into the microoven, setting it to a minute as she said, "All you need to know is that I can never return to the Soul Society." She said, her face completely empty of emotions except for the bored emotion she always displays.

Pulling the heated sandwich out after it was ready, she went back to the sofa, sitting down on it with her legs stretched straight on the coffee table. She turned on the TV with a remote and, surprisingly, the TV showed a channel that was supposed to be only available to the Soul Society. Somehow, Misaki had tuned her TV to get both the Real world channels as well as the ones from the Soul Society. Flicking through the random channels, she stopped on some suspense mystery show called "Extranatural" and began to eat while watching the program, which was showing two guys trying to figure out how a guy was decapitated in a locked room. She was silently eating and watching the programs, meaning that she had nothing else to say unless Sethos had something to say.

Sethos eyed the switchblade as it was set down, giving a small smirk to himself. He could guess easily enough what it had been meant for and shook his head. "You really are the careful one" His eyes followed her as she got up and made her way to find something to eat as well. "I didn't really think you'd tell me" he sighed out heavily, finishing off his meal afterward. "Doesn't mean I wasn't going to ask though. Also doesn't mean I won't keep asking" he noted with his last bite, giving a serious look for a moment. Instead of bothering to clean up he simply scooted the tray across the coffee table some, stretching his arms out above his head before falling back into the sofa, his head resting on the arm of it. He only watched whatever she had turned on for about five minutes and then his eyes were slowly closing and he was yawning.

It was like that for sometime and it wouldn't have been hard to think that the white haired male had fallen asleep, not making a move to show signs of consciousness. But then his voice broke the silence that only the television had been filling. "You don't say too much do you? Its not cute at all" he again let himself smirk as he turned on the couch to prop his leg up on the back of it, not exactly caring how 'at home' he was getting. "Its no wonder you picked up some strange from the airport," he poked, opening one eye briefly to look for some kind of reaction. "You're alone a lot are you not? I can tell by you kitchen. Not cooking any huge romantic meals any time soon..What is it you do for your living?" he had to start some kind of conversation. Despite his unknown hatred for some he was generally a social person and hated awkward silences like they had been caught up in. Though again he wasn't even sure he should be counting on an answer. Misaki was definitely one to her privacy, or so he had come to the conclusion to. So he let his eye slipped closed again, preparing to have to actually pay attention to the voices on the television so he would have someone t pretend to talk to.

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

She did indeed think that he had fallen asleep. Just when she was deciding on whether or not she was gonna poke him, he spoke up. And with every sentence, Misaki felt her nerves being hit. Not cute at all? That line really irked her. So, he wanted to know what she did for a living? She glanced at him, before slowly and silently reaching forward to take the knife back and put the plate down onto the coffee table without a sound.

And with one swift movement, Misaki was sitting on top of Sethos, her legs on either side of his mid-torso, her face and upper body close to his, her bust pushing up against his chest as her right hand pushed the now-opened switchblade up against his throat. With her face millimeters away from his face as she leaned in to his side, so her left cheek almost touched his right cheek, she whispered into his ear. "My livelihood... is blood and death. I work as a bounty hunter here in this world. People pay me money to eliminate a target and I do so swiftly and flawlessly. I kill with no hesitation and with such skill..." She whispered, her voice trailing off as she pushed the blad into his neck just a bit to prove her point, "... No one even knows what hit them. And truth be told... Your scar is ugly, so you can't call me uncute." She whispered, pushing off of him as she stood up, stepping around him and back down onto the floor as she threw the knife with a flick of her wrist. It stabbed into the wall beside the door leading outside. Not even showing the least bit of emotion in the fact that she had just been very, very close to the man in terms of physical space, she sat back down and changed channels, taking her food back into her lap and resuming the action of eating it.

"What about you?" She asked nonchalantly.

Sethos felt a new weight on his abdomen and spmething cold pressed up against his throat, though at the same time warm breaths were creating and odd mixture along with it. He slowly opened his eyes, not looking all the surprised by how Misaki was now sitting on him with that same switchblade as earlier held deadly close to his flesh. In fact he didn't even blink, only allowing himself a small smirk as he gazed up at the ceiling. It was oddly fitting, her job was. He held back his chuckle as best he could though his chest rose and fell a few times as he inwardly laughed. He turned his light blue gaze to her, one brow arching. Misaki really was getting back at him and he found it quite amusing. "How scary" he commented in a whisper as the knife was pressed further against his neck which he stretched out to give her even more room in a tempting manner though he knew she wouldn't act on it, or so he had hoped.

"Hey now, I thought women liked scars. What is it they say 'It tells a story'?" He watched her as she got up off him and went on with her meal. "I might not know the story anymore but i still think it gets the job done no?" Sethos sat up as well, twisting so he could lean back with his legs crossed and propped up on the coffee table. He crossed his arms over his chest, seeming to get ready to fall asleep again until he heard Misaki'sown question. "Its amazing what families will do when they think you saved their lives" he mused. "I've pretty much been leeching off people for a few hundred years now. They almost worship me" He glanced over to her, looking quite proud of himself. "Back in war times in the states rich useless fatties paid some great deal to be protected. They paid me whatever I want and their families continue to call on me now. So kind of in a way, I'm like the exact opposite of you. If some one like you came around I'd have to put an end to them" he was seeing how far he could go again. "I don't think it would be that much trouble..." he really wanted to see what she had for that.

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

Misaki simply smirked and said, "Don't push it, Sethos. You won't last a minute against me." She said, smirking as she glanced at him, "Lets just say that my zanpakutou is designed specifically for 1 vs 1, most usually for fighting against people stronger than me." She added, before her eyes shifted back to the TV.

Her sandwich finished, she got up with the empty plate, walking off to the sink and dumping it there as she said, "You're new to the house, so it's your day to do the dishes." She said, walking back to the TV and sitting down to watch. "If you think you're gonna shirk it, I'll wake you up to something that you won't like." She said, a small smile coming onto her face. A smile of pure evil, although it did not reach her eyes. Something much more evil than an evil smile was an emotionless smile. Just seemed creepy. "So... Did you ever lose one of these 'Rich useless fatties'?" She asked, just making conversation.

[Bleh, short post. Sorry.]

Sethos smirked though he remained quiet to Misaki's statement. He didn't want to go and push things further than they had to be. Of course he didn't have to say much when his face at that moment held a look that simply read: Cocky as Hell. "Is it now? Maybe you'll have to let me see it some day" he mused, arching his brow with interest. "You really are scary~" He watched as she got up to take her dish to the sink and scowled when she announced that he'd be taking care of cleaning up. He liked order but that didn't mean he liked cleaning to get such order. "Yeah, yeah, I'll get to them" he muttered as he got up off the couch, heading to the kitchen and bringing his own dish.

"And how do you know I won't like it?" he looked over his shoulder as he truned the faucet on, pushing his sleeves up before he began to scrub the plates. "You know what..nevermind..." When he looked again he saw that smile and grimaced. "Really not cute.." he mummbled though made sure he was loud enough to be heard as he continued. "Ah so you're making conversation now? Big step" he teased though his smile told he was relieved. He didn't think he could stand it staying quiet. "But nope. I never let a single one of those smelly guy die. You ever miss one and let them get away?"

Misaki Tsukino Ichia

╬════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╬

She scowled as he called her scary in an overly-obvious sarcastic way, getting up from the sofa and walking to the wall to put on some slippers that were kept against the wall neatly. Really Not Cute? That got her riled up alright, as a second later, a white and fluffy bunny slipper spun through the air and hit the back of Sethos' head with precision, the slipper flying back up into the air as Misaki walked over and caught it in her outstretched arm. She had a much more evil look on her face now.
"Call me uncute one more time, and I'll castrate you." She said in a voice filled with malice, black aura coming off her in a very anime-istic way as she put her bunny slipper back onto her exposed foot and walked back over to the couch. Hey, she liked bunny slippers. They were comfy.

Hearing his next question, she scoffed, smirking at the absurdity of the question as she then said, "You know, if anyone survived me, there'd be rumors about me. Because a story only spreads if there are survivors to tell about it." she said, winking at the man mischieviously. "Although, I do think I remember killing a high-priority man a few days ago protected by a white haired man... I remember tricking that man by showing him some 'cute' girls and then going off to kill the target while he flirted." She said, obviously telling a lie yet one designed to make a jab at the infuriating man who seemed intent on annoying her. She pulled the band binding her hair off, letting the curtain of dark hair to fall around her face as she began to tie it into a pony tail again, as some strands had been coming loose from the ponytail.

Sethos felt something hit the back of his head and instantly stopped his washing, a dark could seeming to form over his head as it hung just slightly. He turned his head enough to see her holding the bunny slipper, assuming that was the unidentified object that had collided with his head. His brow twitched for a moment when he saw the look Misaki wore on her face. 'So not cute' He was sure not to say such words out loud, really not all to sure he should be about doubting her words. She was completely horrfiying in that moment. Maybe another time? Oh definitely another time. He turned his head back to the sink, his mouth turning up in the corners with an evil smirk that would go unnoticed by the other rogue as he went back to washing the last few of the dishes, then drying them off.

He made a scowl as Misaki told her Story, knowing full well it was just that. Some story she was making up. But then he bagen to chuckle quietly to himself, slowly letting himself be heard. "You seemed to have sure picked up a lot about his white haired body guard" he commented, still keeping his back to Misaki as he dried."He must have been a very handsome man to get so much of your attention when you should have been focusing on your work. I bet you were wishing you were one of those cute girls huh?" Sethos looked back over his shoulder, his brow arched and smirk wide in an amused way. She had gone trying to annoy him, and while she had suceeded at first he had thrown it right back in her face, making him quite proud of himself if he were honest.

Her face, however, was that same bored expression again as she lounged on the sofa, flicking through the channels. "You better start praying to whatever god you believe in, Ambrose. Because a part of you is gonna be meeting him by tonight." She said casually, which only made it more creepy.

Suddenly, the room was hit by what seemed to be a shockwave, making everything tremble for a moment. But the shockwave contained reiatsu mixed with blood. The telltale signs of a Gran Ray Cero. Misaki had gone completely still, her eyes focused on the TV, her face now serious. "Sethos, did you sense that?" she asked seriously, quickly flicking through the channels towards the news channels.

"We're lucky we spent the day in today... It seems a full blown war just went on outside." She said, meaning the TV, which was now showing a crimson glow completely covering up the sky. Something, most likely the Gran Ray Cero they sensed, had exploded very high in the air. Another channel showed a building suddenly catching fire. The fire was so hot, it instantly began to vapourize and melt the building away, causing it to collapse as people screamed and ran from it's dust cloud. Another channel was showing a live coverage of what appeared to be Karakura Highschool. It was showing a classroom that was completely blurred, but even an idiot could tell why the room was completely crimson, with bumps of pink and white blurs here and there. Even Misaki was sickened, her eyes wide at the stuff that had happened.

"...Never mind what I said... We just avoided a Genocide..." She said, noting that one of the camera crews also took in a video of all of the students lying unconscious around the area, slowly waking up, Including a certain orange haired famous shinigami. Was even Ichigo Kurosaki defeated? Instantly, She got up, swiftly walking to her room and closing the door. A minute later, she emerged, in her Soul Reaper Outfit, consisting of a short Red Kimono and a mask, currently not covering her face, so it was over her forehead, like sunglasses not in use. Her Gigai was in her bedroom's bed, seeming like she was sleeping. Misaki threw the small Gigai-exit seal at Sethos to allow him to exit his gigai as well. "I know that you want to investigate the area as much as I do. So lets not waste time and get going." She said seriously.

He just chuckled at her response, no matter how creepy it was, as he put away the last of the dished. At that same moment the shockwave hit the building and he froze up, his hand still gripping the plate that he had just stacked up. He didn't say anything, just looking out the window with a blank look, his eyes a bit wide. Then he heard Misaki's voice and snapped back into reality, lowering his hand from the cabinet as he turned to ace her. "Yeah..." he murmured, now walking up to the back of the couch where he leaned over it, watching the channels Misaki flipped through. Even without paying attention to what was being said it was clear something was happening, something dangerous.

"Who..what did this?" he stared in horror at the different images, his brows knitting together. Sethos had no clue what an arrancar was nor that they were a serious threat. all he knew was that he soul Society sure had gotten themselves a good enemy in his absence. He didn't flinch as Misaki suddenly got up nor did he hear the door close. He was much to caught up in the news, trying to figure out what had happened exactly, though it was obvious. Though he hated to think it there was no way he could just leave this alone, even if that meant some run-ins with the Soul Society. How he really hoped he had been forgotten.

Just as he had the though Misaki came out from her room, tossing something at him. For a moment he couldn't help but wonder when she had left. When he looked over her though he realized what had been tossed his way and instantly made use of it, releasing himself from his gigai which limply fell over the back of the couch. He looked over himself, finding the old uniform to look slightly odd. It had been far too long since he had been out of his gigai..

He looked up to the woman, giving a slight nod when he heard how serious she was. Some part of him was actually glad to hear that she had no intentions of just letting whatever happened be. She at least wasn't completely heartless which she gave off in her creepier manners. "Right then" he made a step toward the door but then remembered something. He honestly had no idea where they were even going. Curse his memory. First he couldn't read and now he had completely forgotten where anything was. He stopped, looking back over his shoulder with a disappointed look. "Maybe you should lead the way.." he muttered, not daring to let Misaki know how useless he was being right now. "If we're spotted they might take after us and I can hold them off.." he offered as an excuse.

She stayed silent, looking at the door as she then said, "Whoever did this... I can tell you, he's no friend of ours nor the Soul Society."
With that said, Misaki opened the door, letting a new breeze of air rush into the room as well as some of the reiatsu from the shockwave earlier that was lingering in the area. She narrowed her eyes at the feeling of fear tingling up her skin. Not the emotion fear, but the nature of the reiatsu. It's meant to cause fear and despair in it's victims and though Misaki was too strong to be affected, she still felt it. Her hands unconsciously raised to be put on the hilt of her blades as she looked back, "Sethos. I know you know this as well as I do, but both of us requires it to be verbally expressed so we can believe that we both have the same thoughts. So I'll say it, We are not to engage in combat with anyone, Soul Reaper or Arrancar." She said, clearing up the matter and hoping Sethos was thinking along the same lines.

With that, she turned back around and said, "Lets go." before she launched off the railing on the floor into the open air. She landed on the roof of another building before she began to use flash step to go from roof to roof, heading for the school building.

Sethos could feel it, the aura the shockwave had caused and he frowned in detest. Misaki wasn't lying when she said the cause was really no friend of the soul society. He met her eyes when she looked back over her shoulder to confirm their thoughts. He hadn't made it this long as a rogue by picking fights with every shinigami he came across. He wasn't going to go and mess up his track record now. What caught his attention more was the word arrancar. He had no clue what in god's earth that was, assuming it was these new enemies. It really was a pain to not have any connections to the soul society when it came time for wars.

"You don't have to worry about me doing anything" he assured, his voice more serious than it had ever been when speaking to her. Even if he already felt rage towards them for their doings, Sethos wouldn't dare make himself noticed by fighting if he didn't have to, which hopefully would be the case. With that thought in mind, Sethos launched himself from the door just behind Misaki, landing right beside her if not a few inches behind just to give her some lead to to guide him.
