MODERN MARVELS

Modern Marvels is an RPG loosely based on the Marvel comics & movie worlds. We have many site canons to choose from but OC's are also very welcome. It is set prior to The Avengers but encompasses all aspects of the Marvel movie world with many comic book elements.

Times are ominous in the lives of the world's heroes. For the Avengers, Loki, god of mischief and magic has intentions of surfacing in the mortal realm, with him, his army are intent upon destroying whatever may be in their path. Forced out of their neutrality whenever Loki had taken a stance that would result in their defending their institute, the X-Men are working hand in hand with the Avengers to overcome the odds.

Led by Scott Summers and Emma Frost, the X-Men work towards achieving mutant and human peace, a concept that seems all too foreign in the realm of social issues that face mutants. With the disappearance of Charles Xavier and the death Jean Grey, the institute is in a state of turmoil as they work to adjust to their living conditions amongst society.

Having only recently been assembled, the Avengers are a group of heroes who work towards handling the evils and threats to society. Ran, in part, by an organization known as SHIELD, the Avengers follow orders issued to them, and act, too, as officers for the government.

That the world is growing in factions and forces of heroes of all kinds seems to be no issue to the American government. Will these factions collide in the midst of social issues, and stances of certain actions? Or rather, will they decide to work together in light of events to save the world? With the Modern Marvels of the world, one can never be sure of what lies ahead.

Modern Marvels is an R-Rated site due to mature themes. So be warned, this is not for the faint of heart or easily offended. Members must also be 16+ to register.
