Koharu Kuchiki/Shiba Zanpakuto Info (Putting this here cause I want some help completing her bankai XD)

Zanpakuto: Shiroi Hasukaben no Bakuhatsu

Call out phrase: Scatter into the wind and detonate.

Sealed Appearance: Takes the form of a standard katana, the handle is wrapped in light rose pink colored cloth in a way that forms a diamond pattern, the tsuba is shaped like a lotus blossom and is bronze in color; the sheath is light rose pink colored as well.

Shikai Appearance: Takes the form of two twin fusion ronin ninja swords of standard length, the blades are silver in color while the hilt of the swords are wrapped in light rose pink colored cloth; additionally, a moderate amount of medium sized blades hover in the air around Koharu, the light reflecting off the blades makes them look like white colored lotus petals.

Shikai Ability: Can control the lotus petal blades by moving her swords to direct them towards an opponent, the lotus petal blades also have an explosive capability which she can activate with the command 'detonate'. Should her weapons blades break she has two options; one, she can turn the broken blades into more lotus petals and two, she can use the surrounding lotus petals to repair the broken weapon; the down side is that the repair makes the weapon a little weaker than normal and she looses some of her petal blades.

Techniques: N/A.

Bankai: This is where I need help.

The name: Shiroi Hasukaben no Hanabanashii Bakuhatsu (Roughly means Brilliant Explosion of White Lotus Petals)

And that's all I got...But even the name could be better so suggestions on that are nice too o.o

You could make it a one-time use huge explosion thing like Soi Fon has. o.o And this would be better in the support forum.

Anyway, didn't Soifon use her Bankai more than once? o.o

She can only use it once before it ends and she has to initiate bankai again to use it. Not like she can spawn those rockets. O.o

Had to ask cause in the anime they didn't show her initiating Bankai again...Don't think o.o And those episodes were JUST on too XD

Though here, a giant freaking explosion Bankai, with the petal aspect of her zanpakuto, would be a huge almost auto hit the way I'd see it setting up o.o Cause it'd be surrounding them with her petals then detonating them XD But that'd fuck her over too cause she'd have to be close by to detonate them o.o Well, that's how I'd do it to be fair o.o

An idea though o.o That maybe in her Bankai the petals that have exploded create more exploding petals o.o That too would be a dick zanpakuto here XD

Bankai shape..it's a bit close to byakuya so imma move away from the petals as an attack form for the fun of it.

Setting, the battlefield
User: standing with sword planted in the ground in front of them like a boss.
Bankai: A small array of mobile cannons some planted on the ground itself around one large central cannon roughly a quarter the size of Kukaku shiba's big rocket firing cannon from the manga. And further cannons sprouting from large lotus petals that are about the size of a normal gunpowder cannon. Like you see in pirates of the caribbean.

So mobile artillery bankai type thing. strong land based weapons of destruction and airborne varieties for pinpoint assaults on the target. barrage them with shells of energy.


(and i mean if you use it say thank you so i can have charged somebody for a zan cause i'm...really out of options of how to say HA i did it on this challenge. Darn you Mugetsu and your entirely sound an fair decision on this matter!....Also I REALLY like making powers and abilities...alot....so....

For the most part it's not a bad idea o.o But it seems impractical almost, doesn't leave too much room for a defense but we can work with this o.o Love the idea of a cannon bankai XD

To...be more defensive?(okay seriously i keep typing defensives...why the heck? it took me 4 tries to not do it)

Hmmm....I see the offense as being your defense more or less. They assault you beat them back with a barrage of shells. They kidou assault you blast it with your cannons. Strong offense equals the defense.

Fensake's a good example(not plugging him mind you) his nozzles would seemingly be only worthwhile for offensive power but say he attaches on to your weapon or himself somewhere he gives himself much faster ability to handle an attack or outright deflects your own with the nozzle attached to the weapon.


Explain to me more along the lines of what you'd expect to be defensives...barriers or something maybe? The cannons could channel your kidou for you making you able to fire binding spells like Tozansho or the like perhaps.

The white lotus swords hanging seem too similar to Byakuya's bankai for my taste.

So onto the bankai. Since the other two present here have offered their ideas, I'll offer mine.

Basically, you completely terraform an area of 500 ft or more around you in a way, so that clouds appear and it snows down like a blizzard. Except it's not cold or is the white falling snow. The tiny white things falling will be your blades, snow that cuts anything on touch, looking like white rose petals.

Personally, I like the artillery idea better.

@Elim: Sounds like a neat idea for an ice like sword or something that can produce shards. And same here...

Now what can we do about the name? Maybe White Lotus Canon or something along those lines anyway o.o
