For the final- type moves, why not just allow a banned ability for 5-3 seconds (provided it's not god modding, it's just broken in half). Kind of like the ability I got with that random zanpakto generator.

@ Iggy; My opinion is no. And here's why.

They are banned for a reason. If we allowed that, people would probably be running around using their finals. You can only use it once? No problem, new characters, same rank, Use Final, Boom. 5 - 3 Seconds. Even 1 second is enough to completely massacre your opponent with some of the banned abilities. Time Control, 1 second stop while you're extremely close, stab opponent. Cero him. Or whatever in that 1 second of time stoppage.

Instant Chaos. I'm pretty sure my fellow staff members will also be against that idea.

Good point. I was more so thinking of the infinite spiritual pressure for about 3 seconds, thus causing an all or nothing attack (since there's no guaranty it would hit) and like I said, a good number would be excluded (such as time stop, or rapid aging or de-aging. although turning back time to before the battle and then losing your powers would probably be acceptable)

However, with the idea of finals in the first place, won't people be using them like you say anyway?

Yep. Even with infinite Spiritual pressure, they'd release an attack with that limitless pressure, killing off any chances you have of blocking it or dodging it, since infinite reiatsu in an attack tends to make infinite sized attacks.

Final Bankai already is powerful enough as it is. It won't need infinite energy or banned powers. Ichigo decimated an immortal and rendered him incapcitated with the full strength of the hogyoku active, using final bankai. Just one really op'ed version of your normal powers should work for it.

Well, the series is ending at the end of this arc, I think, It makes sense that people start dying. I just hope they reveal their bankais pre-death in their final fights.
