Strollin' and trollin'[Closed]

Ichigo came away from her sister's house on a whim, growling lowly. "What was that beast doing, worming his way into her home... I'll just wait until he come out, I suppose... If one hair on my sister's head is harmed, he's dead!" She stopped, in her Shikai form and gripping both blades tightly. Looking down to the street below her, she glares at the small Hollow before crashing down upon it with a cross-slash from the air, destroying it's mask completely. "Geez... These things are much more annoying recently... I wonder what's happening?"

Suddenly, she begins to hear them roaring, making her guard reflexively. "What? Where-" As if to answer her, a building collapses to the east of her. "Damn! There's a lot..." Gripping her blades, she dashes east quickly, her reiatsu rising more as she enters her Bankai. "Shinjinbukai Eien no De~yuerisuto!" Her body flares out in a brilliant golden stream as the armor forms on her. This made her somewhat quicker, getting to the destruction in no time.

When she got there, there was an immediate Hollow in the way. "Move, beast!" She quite literally punches the Hollow, causing him to lurch forward and fall easy prey to a slash to the back of the head, decapitating him. She landed and surveyed the destruction. It wasn't out of control yet, but could very easily get there if it wasn't under control immediately.

Ichigo leaned down, now in complete view of Izaya. However, once she got into a knelt position, she dashed for the nearest Hollow, rolling forward and slashing a cross into the thing's chest, knocking it up into the air. On the backswing, however, she jabbed her blades into the ground and wrapped her legs around the thing's neck. Letting go of one sword, she spun her wrist and drive the Hollow's mask into the ground, shattering it. Getting up, she dashed immediately for the next one, dashing past and beheading it easily.

However, she didn't see the one to her side charging a Cero. "Gah! Shit!" The Cero fire, bathing her in the red reiatsu. She balled herself up, allowing the armor to reject the reiatsu around her to keep her safe until it was over. When it was, the Hollow seemed to give her a look of disbelief as she grinned. "Surprised, scum?" With a wide grin, she dives forward, driving her katana to the hilt into it's forehead. She gives the blade a harsh yank sideways and cracks the mask, pulling away.

She continued like this for quite some time, destroying Hollows left and right. She was panting after it was all done and over with, thoroughly exhausted. "Geez... Why so many in one place... It doesn't make sense... What's-" Her sentence broke as a Hollow broke from the rubble, making her gasp. She raised her swords just in time to catch it's gaping maw on the golden blades. Grunting in effort, she manages to toss it back, diving forward with a fierce Blade Rondo to the thing's mask. The speed of the strikes was amazing, but the power was quite low. Still, many small slashes add up, digging through the mask and killing the beast.

After that, she was visibly tired. There had been nearly thirty Hollow, and she'd killed them all before many people were hurt. Swords clattering to the ground, she was on one knee with her hands on the ground for support. She had not strained her Bankai like that before. "Damn... No more... I need a break..." Reverting back to Shikai just in case, she sheathed her two blades and stayed right where she was, trying to gain her strength back.

'Twas said 'beast' that was also inevitably attracted by the hollow bait, much as he didn't wish to leave his new protectorate at the moment (though he'd left an assurance that he'd not be very long all the same). Quickly as he could he let his wings take him through the air until he felt he was nearing the center of the source of attraction, as much as that was hard to tell with how far it seemed to have spread. Demons here, demons there, demons everywhere... all surely attracted by the same thing that had attracted the Arrancar.

As to what to do about them, the initial solution was simple: cero. In Drake's case, a beam of pure, lightly burning white that seemed to pay not the slightest heed to any physical object in its way; nor, too, were the physical objects even slightly effected by it. Such was simply the way his cero worked; ignored the physical while hurting the spiritual, in this case ripping through a few hollows in its path.

That, however, wasn't the real problem; no, the real problem was trying to find and stop whatever had attracted these things before things got even further out of hand. That itself might not have been saying much given the current condition, but at least he could keep an eye on quite a bit from his place in the sky, including making sure nothing began to go near the home he came from lest they face his actual wrath.

Ah well... failing finding anything of a source (for not having a clue what to look for), the Arrancar dropped quickly down to the ground and let out a loud, piercing screech through the area. So maybe he couldn't find anything of use, but the least he could do is attract everything to him and away from all the humans around.

Ichigo was on her knees for quite some time before Izaya greeting her, making her immediately jump up and grab the hilts of her golden blades. With a sigh of somewhat relief, she shook her head. "Don't sneak up on people. You can get yourself killed that way..." Ichigo was generally cold towards people she didn't know, so it wasn't Izaya's act that fell through. If anything, it was the sheer amount of distrust the Visored held for anyone else other than her sister. She soon groaned and fell back to one knee, more exhausted than she would ever admit. "What are you even doing here? Did you not see all of those things? It's not exactly the safest place to be..."

Suddenly, the screech rang out, prompting Ichigo to clap her hands over her ears and groan in pain. She turned and looked towards Drake, widening her eyes. "Him..." She slowly stood, all but ignoring Izaya for the moment. The object of her current problem stood in front of her. For some reason, it was making a loud noise.

However, the reason of the noise was clear all too soon, as a Hollow roared out from an unknown location. She paled and turned back to Izaya. "Get back now! That thing is calling them here! Go!" She drew a blade and growled, walking towards Drake when a Hollow blindsided her with it's tail, sending her through a wall. Still, she got back up quickly. "Damn... Maybe I'll kill two birds with one stone..." She places her palm on her forehead and sighs, just standing there for the moment.

He called, and so they came... what were left after the onslaught of the visored barely any time ago, that was. 'Now... burn up, Brilliante Dios,' he spoke, a front claw resting (with the leg having to bend somewhat uncomfortably) upon the otherwise useless zanpakuto at the Arrancar's waist. Upon that simple command, that came out as a series of little growls rather than normal words, his wings suddenly folded around him to surround him completely. Moments later he reemerged, rather human than draconic in appearance now. There were still the wings upon his back, the red eyes, and the partial mask to suggest otherwise, of course, but most couldn't see him for the similarities or differences to really matter.

Now... to warn people, or not? Oh, why not. It might tip off a few of the 'demons' around, but at least it would leave some openings even then. Overall, it was better than having people even more annoyed at him; so far as he could figure, if one person had come to be kind to him, perhaps more could. One could hope, at least.

"Whoever can hear me might want to close their eyes for a few moments," he called out in warning, a ball of pure light meanwhile forming upon one palm. Not by any means immune to blindness, the transformed Arrancar's own eyes quickly closed in time with his fingers closing over the ball of light he'd formed, eliciting a light stinging sensation in that hand that he knew would pass. The next step, meanwhile, was to set off the other orb he'd hidden in his other hand, this time in a beam straight for the hollow that had knocked the visored off her feet. "Er... you two alright over there? If you can even see or hear me, that is..." he hazarded; by the feel of things, he was fairly certain at least one of them could.

Ichigo sighed and glared to Drake, her deep red eyes almost seeming to pierce him in their own right. "Shinjinbukai Eien no De~yuerisuto..." She said it slowly, almost as if she didn't want to. However, her golden armor formed on her once more and her two extra blades materializing as her Bankai returned to her. "I can handle myself..." She showed visible signs of pain as her reiatsu heightened once more, making her presence all but known to Drake.

"You... Good that you're here... Now you're going to tell me why you were around Shinku..." She glared at him darkly, the golden armor accenting her face well. Her twin blades in her hands brilliantly shone in the light. She suddenly dashed forward, pushing all of her power into her speed to get to him as quickly as possible. She then reeled back and aimed a powerful punch for his chest. It wouldn't damage him, but the flight back into a building, should it hit, might give him a couple pains to think about.

Make that two people that could definitely see him, it appeared; surprising, a little, but it likely explained why they were so close together. Still though, this... was... a bit of a problem, wasn't it? Yes, considering that girl's glaring, and the fact that she seemed to be awakening her power to its max, this was definitely some sort of problem.

This, he reminded himself, was why he preferred to stay out of contact with others as much as possible. So much for that hope that had begun to develop after that plenty pleasant time spent with Shinku.

"I..." he started, but it seemed he wasn't to be allowed so much as that just yet. She was fast, probably a bit faster than him, that much Drake readily noted as he quickly brought his hands in to guard from the sudden attack sent at him. He didn't feel it as much as many would, but it still sent him back a few feet, his wings unfurling to dull the momentum before his feet returned to the ground. "I can't really tell you if you're gonna just attack me... but I was around her because she's the only person who's ever been nice to me, so I don't really want to leave her," he answered, now that he actually had the chance. "Oh and, um... you might want to watch out, I didn't quite manage to kill that particular demon," he added, pointing back behind the boy standing nearby. Indeed, the hollow he'd blasted was by no means in good shape, but it wasn't quite dead. The Arrancar inwardly scolded himself for the apparent mistake, but... he couldn't help but be curious how the boy would handle it.

After hearing Drake speak, Ichigo hesitated. She didn't expect him to be to well put together in speech. None of those indiscriminate beasts were. She cooled down a little, sheathing three of her blades and still holding one. However, her waning temper lasted only a moment, as she turned to see Izaya utterly slaughter the Hollow. This made her completely stop and look to the man. It didn't seem conceivable that what he just did was true, especially not since he just got done thanking her and calling her a hero, which personally she didn't like to begin with.

She turned to Izaya with a cold look, staring him down. "Alright... I dislike being lied to..." She held her sword in a defensive stance and leaned forward slightly. "I can't help but get the feeling that you're trying to trick me. I tried to believe you were just one of those special humans that could see them, but..." Her gaze considerably darkens as she turns her blade straight vertical to Izaya. "Only scum and Hollow rely on tricks to get what they want... Talk! Who are you, and why are you using me?!" Her paranoia was very blatantly coming out as she spoke. At the end, however, it was more along the lines of yelling.

So far so good... possibly? Or maybe not, considering the woman's reaction to how the man killed the hollow. Perhaps he should have taken care of it himself after all... so Drake considered, but it was a little late to be worrying about that now. There were other things to worry about, and prioritize much higher than 'could have been's.

Still, though...

"Hollow?" he repeated, tilting his head slightly to the side in curiosity. 'Twas a term Drake was certain he'd heard at least a scant few times, but never had anything to place it to. Then again, there were other concerns than that... for example, the woman's hostility switch from him to the man nearby. Yes, that he needed to concern himself with.

"Alright, well, there's plenty of people I've seen over the years that have powers... no need to get worked up about one, I think. Though..." he paused, glancing curiously in the man's direction. "You smell... odd to me. Or something on you does," he commented, awaiting whatever the answer to that might be.

Ichigo eyes Izaya wearily, as if she didn't believe a word he said. If there was anything she learned by traveling the city, it's that anyone and everyone was only out for themselves, and no one was to be trusted. She was the darker side of Shinku, the side that allowed her paranoia to drive her anger, instead of her sadness. However, despite her anger and distrust, she lowered her blade. Giving him a sharp look, she turned around, facing her unarmored back to him.

"There's no reason for me to trust you..." She crossed her arms and growled. "People are scum. Especially those that have yet to die and see exactly how terrible this world is. Were it not for Shinku, I'd believe the world to be a lost cause. Mark my words..." She glared at him by turning her head just enough to see him. "... You try anything in the future, and I'll slit your throat..." She turns to Drake with a slightly less angry glare and nods. "Same to you, Hollow... I've seen you stalking about my sister's home. I'll be watching you..." With that, she used Shunpo to quickly jump up into the air, and used a nearby telephone pole as leverage to rocket herself towards Shinku's home. She had left her sister's side for too long for her liking.

Cologne? The Arrancar let himself momentarily mull over the unfamiliar word before simply tossing it out, leaving it in the pile of 'things he didn't know and didn't care about.' A pile that was growing steadily larger of late, suffice it to say, but he still got by just fine.

Stalking, however, was a word he very well knew, and one that fit well with a great many of the actions he'd taken over his known century of existence. There were also, meanwhile, things being pieced together, the most important of which was one large point: this woman was Shinku's sister. She didn't have to speak the final fact aloud for it to be confirmed after earlier suspicion. "Hm... well.. take care, I guess?" he spoke somewhat awkwardly when Ichigo left, uncertain what else to do with himself. Whatever the current situation, this was still a human with some sort of power; the last type of being Drake preferred to stick around, with perhaps one sole exception. One last thing, though...

"Just be careful about that... 'cologne' of yours. It feels a little like the sorta thing that might attract demons..." he warned, but merely as a precaution; there was no suspicion in his tone or features. With that, he let out a light sigh as he reverted back to his normal, more comfortable draconic form, walking off for now. Maybe if he took a little time going back, he could avoid any more trouble... 'twas a thought, at least.
